SMORES

I will definitely do this pattern "smore"!! I went to visit my daughter at OSU and she asked me to bring a sewing machine. I took two and a few projects. I like to take the same projects so we can mass produce or at least be on the same page. I had been hoarding these smore print charm packs knowing I wanted to do something for my "lifetime" girl scout. I had the pattern Square It Up by Pieced Tree which caters to charm squares. Kelleigh made one for her friend who was in scouts with her for many years.

Making something cute...

I am working on a project for Moonlight Threads and I can still breathe! Maybe we found something I can do without getting sick. I will post a picture when I get one completed.

Have Your Cake and Eat it Too!

This is so not my style but it was fun and easy to make. It is from the book Have Your Cake and Eat it Too. The pattern is called Tweet d Pie but I bought the book for the pattern Tornado Twister Cake which I have not made yet. It needs quilted as do so many of my projects.

That Time of Year

This is one of my absolute favorite snack combinations. The candy corn is so fresh this time of year and mixed with the dry roasted peanuts makes a "Payday" flavor. There goes the diet!

Lilly Apron

I had so much fun making two Lilly Aprons this weekend by Busy Bee Quilt Designs. Kelleigh needed an apron for art class and had picked out a coral plaid fabric. I found this cute vintage button print fabric from The Quilt Asylum that I could not pass up. I teamed it with a leopard print from my stash and I just fell in love with the finished product.
